01Unit price per tonne, stating ex-works or delivered
Freight is a real share of landed cost over Saudi distances. Without the basis stated on the face of the quotation, a low ex-works price quietly beats a fair delivered one and you award the wrong supplier.
02Cut-and-bend rate per tonne, if applicable
Cut-and-bend is priced separately from the bar and is the line most often left out. A quotation that omits it is not comparable to one that includes it, and the gap only surfaces after award.
03Offer validity period
Rebar is a commodity with a moving price. A seven-day validity and a thirty-day validity are not the same offer, even at the same number, because one of them expires before your approval cycle finishes.
04Lead time from purchase order
Mills roll to a schedule. The cheapest tonne that lands three weeks after the pour date costs more than the dearest one that lands on time.
05Mill test certificate confirmation
Asked at quotation stage it is priced and committed. Asked at delivery it becomes an argument, and an uncertified lot on site is a lot you cannot pour.
