[Name], [Company]What to ask for, and why
The numbered list at the bottom of the template is what makes replies comparable. Each line is routinely left out of quotations, and routinely decides which offer is really the cheapest.
01Unit price per item, stating brand, model and size range
A helmet, a glove or a boot is a family of products, not one. Until every price names the brand, model and sizes it covers, the cheapest line on the table may simply be a lighter grade of protection.
02Standard each item is certified to, with the test certificate
Protection is a certificate claim. Asked at quotation stage the certificate is priced and committed. Asked at delivery it becomes an argument, and an uncertified harness or respirator cannot be issued to a worker.
03Stock availability per size, and lead time for items not in stock
Safety equipment is bought in size runs. An offer that holds sizes 40 to 43 but has to import 44 and 45 leaves part of the crew without boots on the start date.
04Price basis, ex works or delivered to site
Orders are often split across several sites and stores. A lower ex works price can quietly lose to a higher delivered one once the transport to each location is added.
05SASO conformity for regulated items
Items that fall under a SASO technical regulation need conformity to clear and to be sold in the Kingdom. Making it a quoted line keeps a supplier from offering stock that cannot be cleared or used on a compliant site.
06Offer validity period
Imported safety ranges are priced against freight and exchange rates. A validity shorter than your approval cycle means you are approving an offer that no longer exists.

Who supplies safety equipment in Saudi Arabia?
The Saudi market is served by local manufacturers of some items, such as workwear and signage, and by distributors carrying imported ranges of helmets, footwear, gloves, harnesses and respiratory protection. Most projects buy through safety distributors rather than the brand directly. Rather than guess at a shortlist, run the search on your own specification. PROCAI returns the suppliers currently active for the items you need, with contact details.
How do I request a safety equipment quotation in Saudi Arabia?
List every item on its own line with the quantity, the size breakdown where it applies, and the standard each item must meet, for example EN 397 for helmets, EN ISO 20345 for safety footwear and EN 361 for harnesses. Add the delivery point and the required date. The ready to copy RFQ template on this page covers all of it. Paste it, fill the brackets, and send it to every supplier at once.
What certificates should I ask for on safety equipment?
Protection is a certificate claim, not a catalogue claim. Ask for the test certificate or declaration of conformity against the standard named for each item, and SASO conformity through the SABER platform where the product falls under a SASO technical regulation. Make certificate supply an explicit line in the RFQ so it is priced and committed at quotation stage rather than argued about on delivery.
Should I quote safety equipment as one package or item by item?
Ask for a unit price on every line, even when you award the whole list to one supplier. A package price hides where one supplier is dear, and distributors differ most on a few lines such as harnesses, respirators or safety footwear rather than across the whole list. Itemised quotations are what make two offers comparable line by line, which is exactly how a comparison sheet reads them.
Which Saudi cities does this cover?
The supplier list is countrywide and includes suppliers delivering into Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Jubail, Mecca, Medina and Yanbu. When you run the search live you can name your delivery city and see who serves it, then send one RFQ to all of them.
Do these suppliers deliver safety equipment to {city}?
The list on this page was built by searching for safety equipment suppliers in and around {city} specifically, not nationally, so these are the distributors and manufacturers actually serving {city} projects and plants. Ask for the delivered price to your {city} site or warehouse as a separate line, and confirm which sizes are held in stock locally, which is what the RFQ template on this page does.
