[Name], [Company]What to ask for, and why
The numbered list at the bottom of the template is what makes replies comparable. Each line is routinely left out of quotations, and routinely decides which offer is really the cheapest.
01Unit price per block, stating block type and size
A quotation for a 15 cm hollow block is not comparable to one for a 20 cm insulated block. Until every price names its type and size on the face of the offer, the cheapest number on the table may simply be a smaller or lighter block.
02Price basis, ex works or delivered to site
Blocks are heavy and cheap for their weight, so haulage is a real share of landed cost. A lower ex works price from a distant factory can quietly lose to a higher delivered one from a factory near your site.
03Offloading, pallet and breakage terms itemised separately
Suppliers differ on whether offloading is included, whether pallets are charged or returnable, and who carries broken blocks. A lump sum hides these lines, and an itemised offer is the only kind a comparison sheet can read line by line.
04Daily supply capacity and lead time from purchase order
Block walls are laid every day, and one factory may not keep up with several masonry crews. A price from a supplier who cannot deliver the daily quantity your programme needs leaves crews idle, which costs more than the saving.
05Compressive strength test report for the quoted block
Strength is a test result, not a visual check. Asked at quotation stage the report is priced and committed. Asked at delivery it becomes an argument, and blocks below the specified strength cannot go into the walls they were bought for.
06Offer validity period
Block prices track cement and aggregate input costs. A seven day validity and a thirty day validity are not the same offer at the same number, because one of them expires before your approval cycle finishes.

Who supplies concrete blocks in Saudi Arabia?
Concrete blocks are made by local block factories close to the cities they serve, because blocks are heavy and costly to haul far. Most projects buy direct from a factory or through a building materials trader. Rather than guess at a shortlist, run the search on your own specification. PROCAI returns the suppliers currently active for the block type and size you need, with contact details.
How do I request a concrete block quotation in Saudi Arabia?
State the block type (hollow, solid or insulated), the size (for example 400 x 200 x 200 mm), the required compressive strength, the quantity in blocks, the standard you build to, the delivery point and the required date. The ready to copy RFQ template on this page covers all of it. Paste it, fill the brackets, and send it to every supplier at once.
Hollow, solid or insulated blocks: which do I need?
Hollow blocks are the common choice for walls and partitions, solid blocks go where the design calls for higher strength or heavy fixings, and insulated blocks with a polystyrene insert are used in external walls where the energy provisions of the Saudi Building Code (SBC 601 and SBC 602) call for thermal performance. Follow your drawings, then ask each supplier for a compressive strength test report so the block on site matches the block that was priced.
How do I compare concrete block prices?
A block price only means something with its basis attached, because haulage from the factory is a real part of it. Ask every supplier for the price per block for the same type and size, delivered to your site, with offloading and pallet charges as separate lines. Itemised quotations are what make two offers comparable line by line, which is exactly how a comparison sheet reads them.
Which Saudi cities does this cover?
The supplier list is countrywide and includes suppliers delivering into Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Jubail, Mecca, Medina and Yanbu. When you run the search live you can name your delivery city and see who serves it, then send one RFQ to all of them.
Do these suppliers deliver concrete blocks to {city}?
The list on this page was built by searching for concrete block factories and suppliers in and around {city} specifically, not nationally, so these are the factories and traders actually serving {city} projects. Blocks are heavy, so haulage is a real share of the cost. Ask for the delivered price to your {city} site as a separate line from the ex works price, which is what the RFQ template on this page does.
