[Name], [Company]What to ask for, and why
The numbered list at the bottom of the template is what makes replies comparable. Each line is routinely left out of quotations, and routinely decides which offer is really the cheapest.
01Unit price per square metre, stating tile type, size and finish
A 60 x 60 polished porcelain price sitting next to a 30 x 30 matt ceramic price is not a comparison, it is two different products. Until each line names type, size and finish, the lowest number tells you nothing.
02Single batch confirmation for the full quantity, shade and calibre stated
Tiles from different production batches vary visibly in shade and in size calibre. A supplier who cannot commit the whole quantity from one batch is quoting a patchwork floor, whatever the price says.
03Price basis, ex works or delivered, with pallet and handling charges
Tiles move palletised and chip when rehandled. Freight, pallets and offloading are a real share of landed cost, and a quotation that leaves them out is cheaper only on paper.
04Lead time from purchase order
Imported ranges carry shipping times measured in weeks. The cheapest square metre that arrives after the tilers have left site costs more than the dearest one that arrives on time.
05Water absorption class and test certificate against ISO 13006
The absorption class is what separates porcelain from ceramic, and it is a certificate claim. Asked at quotation stage it is priced and committed. Asked at delivery it becomes an argument over a floor that is already laid.
06Offer validity period
List prices move with import costs and stock position. A validity shorter than your approval cycle means you are approving an offer that no longer exists.

Who manufactures ceramic tiles in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia has large domestic ceramic and porcelain producers alongside importers carrying Spanish, Italian, Indian and Chinese ranges, and most projects buy through distributors and showrooms rather than the factory directly. Rather than guess at a shortlist, run the search on your own specification. PROCAI returns the suppliers currently active for the tile type and size you need, with contact details.
How do I request a tile quotation in Saudi Arabia?
State whether the specification calls for ceramic or porcelain, the sizes and finishes with the area each covers in square metres, the standard (ISO 13006 or EN 14411), the wastage allowance, the delivery point and the required date. The ready to copy RFQ template on this page covers all of it. Paste it, fill the brackets, and send it to every supplier at once.
What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain for a project?
Porcelain is pressed denser and fired harder, so its water absorption is far lower, which is why specifications call for it on floors, in wet areas and outdoors. The two are priced differently, so a quotation that does not name which class it offers against ISO 13006 is not comparable to one that does.
How much extra should I order for wastage?
Order 7 to 10 percent above the measured area to cover cutting, breakage and future repairs, and take the whole quantity from one production batch. Tiles from different batches vary visibly in shade and in size calibre, and a later top up order is rarely a true match, so the allowance belongs in the RFQ quantity itself.
Which Saudi cities does this cover?
The supplier list is countrywide and includes suppliers delivering into Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Jubail, Mecca, Medina and Yanbu. When you run the search live you can name your delivery city and see who serves it.
Do these suppliers deliver tiles to {city}?
The list on this page was built by searching for tile suppliers in and around {city} specifically, not nationally, so these are the factories, showrooms and distributors actually serving {city} projects. Tiles travel palletised and chip when rehandled, so ask for the delivered price to your {city} address as a separate line from the ex works price, which is what the RFQ template on this page does.
